I Hinaonao Mo'na (The Journey Forward) was created to bring awareness on what Guam's natural resources have to offer, what challenges they face, and what local and national communities can do to help sustain and protect these resources. The blog was also created to perpetuate Pacific languages with an emphasis on Chamorro language. Dångkolo na Si Yu'os Ma'åse put i finatton-miyu (Thank you for visiting)

Heads Up
The Guam Triathlon Federation is proud to partner up with the Guam Department of Agriculture, Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources for their "Piti Pride Tepungan Wide" campaign. The GTF is a regular user of Piti Bay or "Tepungan Bay" which is a one of the Marine Protected Areas on Guam. To help with the campaign, the GTF will be hosting a quick beach clean-up along a portion of the run route of our triathlon after this Sunday's Sprint Triathlon (May 4th). The GTF will provide bags and gloves for folks. If you want to help out after, DAWR rep (Jane Dia) will be there to hand out the supplies and other outreach items in support of the campaign. This is a great way to give back to the community and Piti Bay since we are able to have multiple triathlons at Hoover Beach.
